Understanding this, our year-long leadership training program, NextGen Leaders, is meticulously designed to cultivate the essential skills required by the next generation of leaders. Our program is tailored for emerging leaders and mid-level managers committed to growth in both their personal and professional lives.

Program Goals

NextGen Leaders aims to equip participants with a robust set of competencies across six critical domains:

  • Self-Awareness: Cultivating a deep understanding of one’s strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas for growth to lead with authenticity and purpose.
  • Communication Skills: Enhancing abilities to convey ideas clearly, listen actively, and adapt messaging for diverse audiences to foster effective collaboration.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Developing the capacity to recognize, understand, and manage emotions in oneself and others, enabling leaders to make informed, empathetic decisions.
  • Time Management: Empowering leaders to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and delegate appropriately to balance workload and reduce stress.
  • Coaching Skills: Teaching leaders to inspire and develop their teams through effective feedback, goal setting, and empowerment.
  • Influencing Abilities: Focusing on the power to persuade and motivate others, driving collective action towards shared objectives without relying on formal authority.

  • Mid-Level Managers: Managers who have experience leading teams and projects but are looking to enhance their leadership effectiveness and prepare for more significant roles.

Quarter One: 360 Feedback Survey Assessment

Utilize the TTI Success Insights 360 Assessment for nuanced evaluation of leadership capabilities in areas such as Interpersonal Skills, Self-Management, Personal Accountability, Influence, and Goal Achievement. This tool encourages open dialogue, identifies strengths and areas for improvement, and fosters overall performance. Participants will have a personalized Zoom session to review results and develop a tailored personal development plan.

Quarter Two: Mastering Effective Communication

Adopt the Platinum Rule—treat others how they prefer to be treated. This workshop emphasizes understanding and adapting to different communication styles, enhancing team and client interactions. Participants will complete the TriMetrix EQ Assessment to evaluate behaviors, motivators, and emotional intelligence, followed by a two to three-hour workshop to improve communication skills and workplace productivity.

Quarter Three: Emotional Intelligence Training

Enhance team emotional intelligence with the Emotional Quotient (EQ) assessment, covering self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, social awareness, and relationship management. This training promotes personal and professional development, better communication, and conflict resolution. Participants will review their EQ assessments and engage in a two to three-hour workshop focused on these five key areas.

Quarter Four: Essentials of Management

Focus on mastering time management, cultivating an empowered team, and understanding the difference between coaching and managing employees. This workshop covers setting objectives, prioritizing tasks, effective delegation, building a motivated team, and different management styles. Participants will engage in a three-hour workshop with practical advice and real-world examples to help them achieve and exceed performance objectives.

Your year-long investment will encompass:

  • TriMetrix EQ Assessment.
  • An initial Job 360 Feedback Survey.
  • A comprehensive debriefing session to explore the 360 Feedback Survey results, including the formulation of a personal development plan.
  • Three quarterly workshops, equipped with PowerPoint presentations, exercises, handouts, a copy of "Real Time Coaching," "Eat That Frog" book, and an EQ Action Plan, etc.

Location of quarterly training: TBD depending on the size of the group.
